I woke up around 11:00.
Well, the new year is here and I have been thinking about what I’d like to achieve, I have five things at the moment.
1: I want to keep up my exercises, at the moment, they are short and not much but it’s what I can do without it hurting too much. I plan to try to increase the number of exercises I do slowly if I feel I can handle them. At the moment I do 30 push ups and 30 sit ups, I will try to do 40 and if I can do them then continue, then 50 and so on, if I can’t do them then I will drop down to the one I could do and continue with that for a week and try the next one up again. I’ll also be keeping up with not eating junk food.
2: I want to read as much as I can this year. Each time I finish a book I’ll be giving it to a library. I have 10 books which have the lowest page number which are:
– Fahrenheit 451 – 107 pages
– A Clockwork Orange – 125 pages
– The Great Gatsby – 130 pages
– The Big Sleep – 136 pages
– To The Lighthouse – 154 pages
– Orlando – 162 pages
– The Strange Case Of Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde – 178 pages
– Coraline – 185 pages
– The Bridge On The River Kwai – 186 pages
– Wizard of Oz – 189 pages
I have no set order for them, the lettering in some books is smaller than some of the others. My goal is to read at least one hour a day and hopefully, I can read about 20 to 30 pages a day, which would mean I can read a 140 to 210 book in a week.
3: I want to get through as many games as I can, I have a small list of games to try and complete first, which are:
– Sly Cooper 2
– Sly Cooper 3
– Prince Of Persia 3
– Kingdom Hearts 1
– Kingdoms Of Amalur
I have already started Sly Cooper 2, I’m about halfway through.
4: I want to get my OCD under better control so it doesn’t stop me from doing things that I want.
5: I want to write more, I will be focusing on a few short stories and my short chapter story. I’ll be trying to write for at least an hour a day. I hope to start posting some time in January.
Those are my goals for 2018.
I didn’t do much today aside from mount my TV to the wall and rearrange my consoles wires as it was a mess behind the TV. I’m going to spend the night with my family. Happy New Year.
