My Resolutions Day 09

I had another bad night, sleep seems to allude me much lately. I’ve been trying to get some things started, but trying to start anything on days of no sleep is like fighting a battle against a gun with a leaf. I want to read and write but my OCD can annoy me to the point of completely stopping until it’s calmed down.

I didn’t read any Prince Of Thorns because my OCD made me re-read the same sentence like 30 times before I put it down. I will come back to it later.

My resolutions have been going well, I’ve managed to do them and the exercise is making me feel a little better.

I had a bad night’s sleep, only a few hours before I had to get up for the doctors and I tried to sleep when I got back but couldn’t. I’m thinking of making a schedule and having one thing I can do for the day. For my exercises I’m wondering if I can do something with a sword, I have one, not too sharp, but it’s fun to swing around, so why not have fun with that and do some exercises with it? It is fun and exercise.

I am enjoying the story so far. They have set up a set of rules now, as if it’s a game. Danny can get very annoyed at Dave for good reasons.

Even though I am still sick, I managed to walk a little and do my handgrips, I’m glad I managed to do more.

I am thinking of making an exercise guide I can make for myself. I can’t do much so I need to do somethings I can do. That is why I walk a little and use handgrips. I want to have a few I can do to help out my whole body, but I have to be careful of what I do in case I hurt myself. I will have to think about it.

Not much to comment on since I didn’t read very much.

I am feeling sick today. I started feeling dizzy and was starting to walk weirdly, so I decided to walk out quickly, just the 01 step I needed to do today, so step outside the front door, took another step in case just stepping out didn’t count and went back in with my feet freezing cold as I took a minute to stare at the stars which were bright.

I was wondering if I should do any handgrips but thought I might be sick so I didn’t do them today and read a little when I felt a little better, but I had to stop that too.

I hope tomorrow I feel better and walk more and read more.

I will show you what I’ve been working on soon too.

Dave has clearly become obsessed. It’s looking like it might spiral out of control and into something deeper than having fun, all this started on one drunken bet. It looks like it’s going to get worse now. It’s going to be a fun read. I hope that they take care of themselves here.

The exercising is going well. I am enjoying going out. Habits are still the same. I had some good news from the doctors, my blood pressure is down and I can come off the medication.

I am thinking about what types of things I can post. I have some plans I think people will like. I hope you like what I’m posting.

The story’s picking up and we’re getting into the part where the bet they’ve met is going to get out of control. The writing is starting to find its style. I’m enjoying it.

I had an eye exam today and found my vision is slightly worse, more so in my left eye, but not that noticeable. Hopefully, I’ll get some good news from the doctor tomorrow.

I want to write up a few things on OCD and insomnia and what it’s like to live with them.

I’ll hopefully have some good things to show people.

The book has started the main plot, Dave Gorman and Danny Wallace have made a bet and are going to meet more Dave Gormans. So far the writing style’s entertaining, switching between Dave and Danny, Dave writing in bold and Danny non-bold font.

I’m stopping reading for tonight, my OCD is making it hard. I think my pain medication exacerbates it, making it go from a 10/10 struggle to an 11/10 full blown battle.

This site will be more person, however, with reading, I’ll post what I’m writing about her and BehindSplitBreakFracture, that’s because I will be writing reviews for the novels and post them to SplitBreakFracture, and since BehindSplitBreakFracture focuses on what I do with SplitBreakFracture makes sense.

I haven’t actually been reading a lot. I’ll try to read more.

I started reading on Monday but not before I posted my Monday’s post. So, I’ve included it here.

My exercises are going well, my reading is the only thing I’m behind on, which means I just need to find time to read my goal, which is 20 pages a day, however, I know I’m not going to meet them all, such as yesterday and today, I won’t let that get me down.

Challenging myself

I think challenging yourself is something everyone should do every once and a while. It can help you with many things, getting fitter, learning faster, being productive, etc.

I was laying in my bed wondering what I could do at 23:00 when I remembered I have handgrips. I got down from my bed and picked up both, lay down again and started using them. I thought every night and/or every morning I’ll just use them, I’ll keep them on my shelf by my bed. When I see them when I wake or an hour or so before I sleep I’ll use them. I don’t know how many I should do all together, but I can manage 25 at a time before taking a 10 to 20 second rest before doing 25 again. I’ll try for 200, 8 sets of 25, but I will at least do 1 set.

So, this is another exercise along with my walking. I feel that doing a few challenges will help me out, it will keep me fitter in my state of sickness and give me a distraction from my overactive mind, which can at times be useful, although at other times not.

A lot of that time was spent standing around in shops. I went into town and was asked to pick up a few things. However, I got out of the house, did my walk, so I feel good.

I’m starting to read more and I’ll keep people updated on what I am reading. I am trying to get through a lot of my books. I have so many it’s hard to know what to read first, I can read many books at once, so I will choose 2 or 3 and try to mix it up, like one fiction and one non-fictions, try to go across genres such as comedy, science fiction and fantasy. I’m going to pick out 2 or 3 novels tonight to try and read through.
